Refurbishments are an important part of keeping out beloved Disney Resorts is tip top condition. Coming up this week, the Uzima Springs pool will be having some work done to it.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House

• Jan. 14-18 2013: Uzima Springs Pool Slide will be closed for refurbishment. The Uzima Springs Pool will remain open, with the exception of Jan. 17 – 18.
• Jan. 17 – 18, 2013: Uzima Springs pool will be closed for refurbishment.

I called down to the resort this morning and was told that during the time that the entire Uzima Spring spool is closed on the 17th & 18th, guests at Jambo House will be able to use the beautiful Samawati Springs Pool located at Kidani Villiage. If you haven’t been over to see Samawati Springs, this is an excellent time to explore all the fun options that it has to offer.

Bus transportation is available between the two arms of the resort.
