As I was flipping through the Fall 2012 Disney Files Magazine I was excited to see that there’s a whole new Disney Vacation Club Member Mingle going on at the Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Disney Vacation Club president Claire Bilby is focused on bringing together DVC members as a community to enjoy all the magic that can happen. On of the ways that she wants to do this has come to life at Jambo House where twice a week they’ve hosting a Sundown Mingle. These early evening receptions are open only to DVC Members and their guests staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas at Jambo House or Kidani Village. The soiree lasts for about an hour and includes “hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and even a parting gift”. A lovely perk to the event is that complimentary child care will be provided if grown ups would like to use this time as a chance to step away from the kids.

Reservations are required to attend the Sundown Mingle and can be made by talking to a Disney Vacation Club Cast Member at the desk in the lobby.
